I’m Afshan Tafler, a Nervous System Resilience Coach, podcast host of The Regulated Parent, and a parent raising a PDA Autistic child (now teen) with high anxiety and OCD. For years, daily meltdowns, fear, and unpredictability shaped every part of our lives — and pushed my nervous system into burnout.

Through trauma-informed nervous system regulation work, everything began to change — not because the challenges changed, but because my capacity to handle them did.

Today, I’ve guided hundreds of parents from barely coping to feeling steadier, more connected, and more alive — even if the external challenges don’t change. 

This work isn’t about fixing your child.
