For parents of PDA, autistic, ADHD & high-needs kids
When parenting feels like survival, your nervous system matters most.
I help overwhelmed parents regulate their own nervous systems, so they can feel calmer, steadier and more hopeful, even when the challenges don't change.

Is this you?
Your child hits, rages or breaks things, and you can't stay calm no matter how hard you try.
You know the tools, but in the hard moment your body takes over.
You yell, then spend the night in guilt and shame.
You're running on empty, on the edge of burnout or deep in it.
You hold it all in and do everything for your child, while quietly burning out and losing yourself.
You worry all the time about your child's future: school, friends, and whether they'll ever be okay.
You're not failing. Your nervous system has been in survival mode for a long time. That can change.

I get it. I've lived it too.
Hi, I'm Afshan Tafler.
I'm a Nervous System Resilience Coach, host of The Regulated Parent podcast, and a parent raising a PDA autistic son with high anxiety and OCD.
For years, our days held five hours of meltdowns, hitting and broken things. I burned out.
What changed it was working with my own nervous system first. Our meltdowns went from five hours a day to about 30 minutes once a week.
This work isn't about fixing your child. It's about helping you move from survival to resilience, inside a life that's still challenging. And it is possible.

When you regulate, your child feels it
Your child's nervous system has been reading yours the whole time. Here's what parents noticed in their kids.
The program helped me find those little ways of rebuilding my regulation in the moment, so I could stay more present and help my children's nervous systems become more regulated. I also am able to be kinder to myself and my children.

Parent of high-needs kids
The relationship with my child changed the more I was able to be truly calm and regulated. Our relationship is changing and trust is coming back.
A parent in the Regulation Rebuild
When I zoom out, my kids are doing so much better, and connection is better than in a long, long time. And this is because of the nervous system work we are doing here.
A parent of neurodivergent kids
I use the tools I have learned multiple times throughout the day and, honestly, things have changed immensely. Our friends and family have noticed and commented.

Parent of two PDA, autistic, ADHD kids
Before the course, parents described
- Bracing and tensing through the day, waiting for the next catastrophe
- Going numb and shutting down by evening, then feeling like something was wrong with them
- White-knuckling a "fake calm" their child could see right through
- Snapping into reactivity, then sinking into guilt and shutdown
- Feeling alone, overwhelmed, and lost in the complexity of it all
Now, the same parents describe
- Catching themselves earlier and rebuilding regulation right in the moment
- Coming back online and reconnecting with themselves and their kids much faster
- A real, felt calm their child can actually settle into
- Fewer outbursts, and recovering more quickly when they do happen
- Feeling connected, understood, and no longer alone
