Afshan has guided hundreds of mothers to regulate their nervous systems while parenting in the most triggering environments — with simple tools, live coaching, and real community support.

You can move from survival mode to calm, connected motherhood… but how?

Daily meltdowns. Hyper-sensitivity. Constant exhaustion.

You’ve probably asked yourself:

  •  “Will I always be this triggered?”
  •  “Will it ever get any easier?”

“Can I really feel ok with my child and this life?”

The answer is: Yes.
But it won’t come from pushing yourself through it, being hard on or shaming yourself, or waiting for your child to change.

It starts with your nervous system.

Afshan Has Been Featured In:

Hi, I’m Afshan.

I know what it’s like to live through extreme challenges.

My son is PDA autistic with high anxiety and OCD. He doesn’t go to school. For years, he went through intense meltdowns and rages, controlling even our basic needs. He couldn’t meet his own basic needs at times, which triggered intense fear in me.

I burned out. I questioned if I could keep going. I even reached a point where I didn’t want to be on this earth.

But I found my way through.

I poured myself into learning everything I could about the nervous system and trauma healing. I trained in Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, Havening Techniques, and many other approaches — not just to collect credentials, but because I desperately needed to figure out how to heal myself so I could handle this life and be the safe mother my child needed.

Through these trauma-informed, nervous system regulation tools, I learned how to come back to my body, build capacity, and heal my survival responses. I came out of burnout.

Today, my son still has challenges. He still doesn’t want to learn. He still goes in and out of burnout and wants me to participate in his OCD rituals. But I am different.

I feel okay with my child and this life. I stay regulated when he’s activated. I experience joy and laughter daily. My nervous system is flexible now.

The difference is that I can see it differently — and most importantly, feel it differently in my body. I can allow what is, now, in the present, and still hold onto hope for the future. I don’t equate his success with my success anymore. I do the best I can for him and surrender and let go of the rest.

That’s what regulation looks like: flexible, capable, trusting myself, showing up with love and compassion, and living from who I want to be.

I can see my son differently — not as a threat but as my greatest teacher and my greatest gift. Gratitude has replaced fear.

This is the journey I want to guide you through.

What Other Moms Say about Afshan

"
"I was in deep burnout and desperation from negative cycles of reactivity within my family (neurodivergent)...I have eons more understanding of myself - my nervous system patterns, why the things trigger me that do, and how to help myself in those moments. I have more compassion for myself, and more confidence that I can heal…I have tapped into new ways of knowing. Afshan is incredibly intuitive and knowledgeable…Her non-judgmental reactions model for me how to love and accept myself."
"
"I was struggling with rage, giving looks of disapproval, lack of confidence and worthiness. Afshan helped me to make a lot of changes in my nervous system, thought processes, beliefs and action changes too. I am a calmer parent, a more aware person and in touch with my consciousness. I feel worthy and able to handle situations from my true self, feel supported from my Self and way less reactive."

WITH GUIDANCE
EVERY STEP

Live weekly teaching and coaching + on-demand tool library + support between classes

So you’re never guessing, never starting from scratch, and never doing it alone.

Whether You…

Have very little time or energy — You’ll learn micro-practices that can be done in minutes, right in the middle of daily life.

Are with your child all day (they don’t go to school) — You’ll discover ways to use these tools alongside your child, even when you have no space for yourself

Have a very sensitive nervous system or past trauma — Everything is taught in safe, gentle, trauma-informed ways, so you’ll never be pushed faster than feels right. You’ll also learn how to keep the past from taking over the present.

Have no partner or support — You’ll be held in community with other moms, and you’ll have me personally supporting you in our group space between sessions. You won’t be doing this alone.

Have tried “everything” before — So did I. That’s exactly why I created this path — because I know what actually works when you’re living in the daily chaos.

Are neurodivergent yourself — These practices are body-first and can be adapted to your unique wiring. Many neurodivergent moms find them especially supportive.

Struggle with consistency — That’s okay. This isn’t about perfection — it’s about persistence. Even small steps matter, and with time your system will feel safer, making consistency come more naturally.

Have a toddler, tween, or teen — These tools meet you where you are. They help you stay calmer and more grounded no matter your child’s age or stage.

What’s Inside: Your 12-Week Journey

Each week, you’ll join me for a 90-minute live class that includes:

  • Simple teachings to help you understand your nervous system and why you react the way you do
  • Guided practice with body-based tools so you can experience regulation in real time
  • Q&A and spot coaching to get support for your specific challenges

All sessions are recorded and uploaded to your private course platform so you can revisit them anytime.

You’ll also receive a searchable video library of tools, organized by what you’re feeling (“use this when you’re anxious,” “use this when you’re overwhelmed,” “use this when critical thoughts take over”), so you can find the right support in the moment.

Week 1
Find Your Way Back to Safety
You’ve been in survival mode for so long that you don’t even remember what it’s like to feel truly relaxed, calm, and present. Your system has forgotten how to get back to safety and ease.

This week, you’ll begin by learning about the nervous system and how to develop awareness of what state you’re in. You’ll practice being with your body instead of being taken over by it, and you’ll learn my 5-Step Process for giving your body cues of safety. These practices start retraining your system to recognize what regulation feels like again.

We’re creating the foundation of safety — the pathway that helps you step out of the trauma vortex and into the safe zone. This is the first step to building the capacity to handle challenges without breaking down.
Week 2
Expand Your Safety and Capacity
When you’ve lived in constant stress, your nervous system gets stuck in ON or OFF mode and loses its flexibility to handle challenges without going to extremes. Your tolerance narrows — and we want to widen it so you have more capacity to stay regulated.

This week, we’ll build on the 5-Step Process by adding gentle vagus nerve toning practices that strengthen your ability to return to calm and stay there longer. You’ll also see how these tools naturally rebuild what every nervous system needs to feel safe: context, choice, and connection.

By the end of the week, you’ll feel more anchored in what true calm feels like — not just as an idea, but as a real experience in your body. You’ll also walk away with a personal list of tools and resources that help your body feel safe in daily life.
Week 3
Calm Your Stress Response Before It Spirals
Your child triggers you so often that your nervous system stays on edge — revved up, anxious, and agitated. You try to hold it in, but that only builds pressure until it explodes out as rage, or leaves you drained in exhaustion and resentment.

The key is learning how to work with that energy instead of fighting it.

This week, you’ll learn how to recognize sympathetic activation early and choose between two safe paths: calming the energy or releasing it before it takes over.

You’ll feel more in control of your reactions — able to stop the spiral before it turns into an explosion or collapse.
Week 4
Release Stress That's Been Trapped in Your Body
Think of how many times you’ve had to hold in your anger, frustration, fear, or worry just to function and try to help your child. All that survival energy gets blocked and trapped in your body, creating a heavy stress load that leaves you primed to react again or slip more easily into burnout.

This week, you’ll learn how to safely release that trapped energy — the load every parent carries after holding it together during meltdowns.

You’ll feel lighter, freer, and more resilient as your nervous system is no longer weighed down by the buildup of stress.
Week 5
Get Out of Shutdown and Lessen Trauma
Sometimes you go numb — no energy, no motivation, no ability to connect. You feel stuck, trapped, and hopeless. This is dorsal vagal shutdown, the state where trauma gets encoded and burnout takes hold.

This week, you’ll learn how to recognize shutdown earlier and gently climb out of it, building the pathway back to safety. The more you can return to safety from this state, the less time you’ll spend in it and the less trauma you’ll accumulate.

You’ll feel more able to come back online, reconnect with yourself, and stop burnout from deepening.
Week 6
Break Free from Functional Freeze, Appease, and Fawn
On the outside, you may look calm because you have to function and co-regulate your child — but inside you’re numb to the activation going on underneath and disconnected from your true feelings and needs. This functional freeze feels like regulation, but it’s really survival. It keeps you primed to snap or collapse at any moment. You may also find yourself appeasing or fawning (people-pleasing) just to keep the peace and feel safe.

This week, you’ll learn to spot freeze, appease, and fawn patterns for what they are — survival strategies — and discover how to shift into true safety.

You’ll feel more authentic, steady, and connected to yourself, no longer stuck in “pretend calm.”
Week 7
Feel and Process Big Emotions Safely
Anger, fear, grief, and shame can feel too big to handle — so you push them down, or they spill out in ways you regret.

This week, you’ll learn body-first practices to safely feel and process emotions without being hijacked by them.

You’ll feel relief and freedom as you realize you can handle your emotions — and expand your capacity to be with your child’s big feelings too.
Week 8
Break Free from Body, Mind, and Behavior Patterns That Keep You Stuck
Maybe you notice yourself clenching, bracing, staying hypervigilant, overthinking, over-doing, criticizing yourself, ruminating, striving for perfection, or hanging onto expectations — all on autopilot. These body, mind, and behavior patterns keep your nervous system locked in stress and building more load.

This week, you’ll learn how to recognize and interrupt your personal patterns and begin to re-pattern into new states of calm, safety, and choice.

You’ll feel less controlled by old habits and more free to respond differently in the moment.
Week 9
Rewire Beliefs So You Feel Capable and Enough
Most mothers I work with carry painful beliefs like: “I’m not doing enough… I’m failing… I’m damaging my child… I’m not capable.” These beliefs keep the nervous system stuck in shame, grief, and negativity, training the brain to see only danger in yourself and your child.

This week, you’ll learn why your brain defaults to negativity under chronic stress, and how to rewire it with a simple mind-body modality called The Havening Techniques.

You’ll feel more capable, confident, and compassionate with yourself — no longer ruled by the belief that you’re failing — and more able to show up for your child with patience and an open heart.
Week 10
See Your Child in a More Positive Way (Even in the Hard Moments)
When your nervous system is stuck in survival, your child becomes one big cue of danger to your brain. You lose sight of their goodness and glimmers.

This week, you’ll practice shifting your lens — spotting moments of safety and connection even in hard times. You’ll use Havening to help rewire how your brain perceives your child.

You’ll feel clearer, more patient, and more connected — able to see your child with compassion instead of as a threat.
Week 11
Know Exactly What to Do in the Chaos
During meltdowns, everything feels like chaos. You freeze, react, or feel helpless about how to support yourself or your child. You feel stuck with no choices.

This week, you’ll create a personalized plan to bring the three things your nervous system needs to feel safe — context, choice, and connection — into your daily life. You’ll learn how to set yourself up to know what’s happening, expect it, and know what to do in the heat of the moment.

You’ll feel more capable and confident, knowing exactly how to support both yourself and your child when chaos hits.
Week 12
Build Your Personalized Roadmap for Resilience
Without practice, it’s easy to slip back into old patterns.

This week, you’ll integrate everything you’ve learned into your own daily system for resilience. You’ll review your growth, strengthen your tools, and create a clear roadmap for the future.

You’ll leave feeling confident, grounded, and prepared to keep healing — with a plan for how to keep building safety, flexibility, and strength long after the course ends.

Why Most Parenting and Even Nervous System Programs Don’t Work for Moms Like Us

Most parenting courses focus on teaching you how to think differently about your child. They give you helpful information, reframes and strategies. But when your child melts down, your body reacts before your mind can catch up. Your nervous system takes over. And then you feel like you’re failing because you couldn’t stay calm — like you’re damaging your child.

On the other side, most nervous system focused programs give you somatic tools that are powerful — but they’re designed for people who are already out of the trauma. They assume you live in a safe environment where you can practice regulation without constant activation.

But that’s not our reality.

When you’re parenting a high-needs child, you’re often living in a context that can feel unsafe — chaotic, unpredictable, even violent at times. You don’t get to step away. You don’t get hours of quiet. You need tools that work while you’re still in the storm.

That’s what makes this program different.

We focus on the body first, because your body has to feel safe before your mind can shift. And we practice in real-life contexts — in the chaos, in the meltdowns, in the moments where you can’t leave your child.

No one else is really teaching what it’s like to experience trauma and lack of safety as a parent. This course is different because it was built for exactly that reality.

Imagine This…

✨Staying present during your child’s biggest storms.
✨Knowing how to help yourself and your child when triggered.
✨Reclaiming your energy, steadiness, and aliveness after the storm.
✨Feeling safe in your own body.
✨Knowing: “I can do this. I am enough.”
